With A Message Of Women Empowerment, This Mural Artist Is Transforming The Streets Of Pune & Mumbai

With splashes of colour, innate skill and a keen eye for detailing, let us introduce you to Sneha Chakraborty, an artist who is dotting the streets and buildings of Pune and Mumbai with her women-centric murals. Keep reading to know more about her colourful and inspiring journey.

Let’s take you on a journey about a talented artist in Pune. After a flourishing career in Interior Designing, she left it all to pursue her true love, art! As many inspiring stories, this one too was riddled with darkness and depression and like the light at the end of the tunnel, Sneha Chakraborty took a leap of faith and picked up a spray can and transformed a wall in the Khar slums of Mumbai. Since then, there has been no looking back for her. Sneha is a gifted artist who is transforming and beautifying walls in Pune and Mumbai with her street art. She is also the founder of Lets Bee Canvas, her brainchild of a collective art space where she can connect with people, showcase her art and network with other artists.


In Pune, she has done a staggering 30 murals that you can admire predominantly in Viman Nagar. Who does she like to paint? Most of her designs are all women-centric that shines a light on the power of all womankind. (we’re not looking to start a feminist debate here) In Mumbai, she has been dotting the city with her beautiful and colourful art that can be found in Khar and Andheri. Taking her mural count up to 60! Impressive right?

After art, her second love is teaching and spreading joy and this love of teaching comes in the form of online and offline workshops. She also loves teaching therapeutic art workshops for all age groups, to help them socialise, grow and learn a new art form. You can also hit her up for kids birthdays, kitty parties and any sort of art party you’d like to have in the comforts of your home. 

Currently, she is working on an LGBTQ inspired mural in Viman Nagar, Pune and will be hosting an  online art workshop in the coming future.
