Let’s face it, we’re always starstruck by celebrities and we love to follow them and know everything about them. We recently told you about 10 celebrities that have made Pune proud, but now we bring you a list of places that our very own Pune-based celebrities love to eat.

Kedar Jadhav - Vaishali

Kedar Jadhav made history by becoming the first cricketer from Pune to play in the 2019 Cricket World Cup. The all-rounder, Kedar Jadhav, loves to sip on hot filter coffee from our very own Vaishali on FC Road post cricket practice. Who knows, if you go back in time, you might have seen him around, before he shot to fame! 

Radhika Apte - Goodluck Cafe, Blue Nile

The popular ‘Sacred Games’ and ‘Andhadhun’ actress swears by the biryani and caramel custard at Blue Nile, Camp with her dates. During theatre rehearsals, she used to gorge on kheema and bread pudding from Goodluck, Deccan Gymkhana. Her husband, Benedict Taylor swears by it too! Did we mention that she also loves apna local burger from Burger, Poolgate? She lists it down as a place one mustn’t miss when in Pune and the fact that you’ll never find burgers like these anywhere else! Well now, that is a fact! 

Raj Kumar Santoshi - Nisarg

For anyone who has lived in Pune, Nisarg has been a seafood favourite with city dwellers. Indian film director, producer and screenwriter for popular films like Andaz Apna Apna, Legend Of Bhagat Singh and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani to name a few. Raj Kumar Santoshi simply loves to dine at Nisarg, Nal Stop. So much so that the restaurant actually named the dry chicken preparation after him and you can still find it on the menu to this day! Cool, right?

Although not born in Pune, our beloved 'Jassi' aka Mona Singh has spent a good amount of her life in the city. Her father was in the Army and his last posting was in Pune. So, the actress is well acquainted with the city and loves to eat cakes, pies and desserts at German Bakery, Koregaon Park and for a hearty breakfast and sunny side up eggs, Prem’s, Koregaon Park is her go-to haunt. For a great taste of Pan-Asian fare, her go-to restaurant is the popular Malaka Spice, Koregaon Park and she loves sampling the Chicken Satay with peanut dipping sauce along with Thai and Malay dishes they have to offer. 

Amruta Khanvilkar - Cafe Durga

Hindi and Marathi actress Amruta Khanvilkar who starred in Meghana Gulzar’s Raazi and Satyamev Jayate alongside John Abraham, still loves her old college days hanging out spots and eating at Cafe Durga is one of them. We all love their beloved cold coffee and so does she! She also likes to gorge on a plate of anda bhurji to go with the coffee.
