Shivaji Lake Park 

Situated in the heart of Pimpri-Chinchwad, Shivaji Park Lake is a green oasis that can completely cut you off from the city chaos. Located near the Spine road, this huge, lush green park is quite popular amongst fitness enthusiasts who come here for walks frequently. The park has a dense bamboo plantation and even a cycling path for you to pedal. However, that’s not all, the fanciest feature of the park is their mini lake that has houses. With ducks flocking around and fishes swimming, the lake is mesmerising to say the least and perfect for picnicking. The garden is exceptionally tidy and we request to keep you just like that during your visit.

Ganesh Lake

A popular picnic spot in Pimpri Chinchwad, Ganesh Lake is pretty as a picture!. The lake is situated inside the Veer Savarkar Udyan which was recently beautified by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation . Dotted with vibrant bougainvilleas and shrubs on the sides, the lake is absolutely pristine and has pindrop silence. So, grab your picnic baskets, find a shady tree and enjoy the peace. What makes this park even more worth visiting is the fact that it is equipped with all sorts of fun things to do for both adults as well as the kids. It has a designated play area for kids which has many swings and slides to keep them entertained. However, as far as the adults are concerned, the lake area as well as the garden is open for photoshoots (with special permission), so if a lake-side pre wedding photoshoot has always been your dream, you know where to head to.

Bird Valley Lake

If you are a jogger or a fitness enthusiast then we bet you must always be on the lookout for scenic places to run wild and free. Well, then you cannot find a better place than Bird Valley Udyan. Situated in a garden, this ginormous waterbody is surrounded by greenery on all sides. The lake also has a walking track running by its sides thus giving the joggers an opportunity to jog with a view. The running track is 1.5 kms long and is in great condition. Boating opportunities are also available at this lake at a nominal price of Rs 50 which makes the experience at this place even more wholesome.

Bhosari Sahal Kendra Udyan

Sprawling with well manicured lawns, tall coconut trees and tonnes of swings and slides, Bhosari Sahal Kendra Udyan is a must visit for everyone who loves taking a stroll amid nature. The garden has a large lake in the middle called the Bhosari Lake which is full of small fishes. Small steps have also been constructed near the lake where you can sit and feed the fishes while enjoying the spectacular view and natural beauty around you. The lake is also home to a few ducks which can be seen flocking around the water. The garden is so vast that it also has a toy train to take you around the premises. So if you are up for a fun experience and want to spend some time with your little one, then you cannot go wrong with Bhosari Lake.

Durga Tekdi Lake 

If you are a resident of PCMC, we bet you would have visited Durga Tekdi to get some fresh air and pump up your heart rate. But how many of you have actually walked as far as the Durga temple that it houses and the beautiful lake right next to it? That’s right people, Durga Tedki also has a secluded yet gorgeous lake on the top. The lake is not visited by many and is surrounded by rich flora and fauna. While sitting there you will find yourself completely cut off from the city chaos and will be able to concentrate on your thoughts with the ambience sound of the birdies residing on the trees.
