There’s no arguing, that chocolate cake is both comforting and indulgent. But with the same ingredients and a heap load of chocolate can be transformed into indulgent and sinful brownies that are overloaded with chocolate, fudgy and crazy good! We scouted the city and we found the best spots in Pune where you can score the best brownies. We definitely score some major brownie points with this, right? How about a 1,000?
Theobroma
We had to start our list with Theobroma who are known for their to-die-for brownies. Right from the classic Walnut Brownie to the fudgy and crispy Cookie Brownie and my personal favourite the Millionaire Brownie is a soft buttery caramel sandwich between a chocolate chip brownies and a layer of dark chocolate truffle. You can also try out the Oreo or the Red Velvet Brownie with cream cheese swirls. These all contain egg, but you can ask for eggless options too!

Sassy Teaspoon
For all you sweet lovers, Sassy Teaspoon is quite underrated for its brownies. We bet you must have tried their amazing desserts while dining at The Sassy Spoon. But, the next time you’re there and crave for some brownies, then we suggest you give their Salted Caramel or Belgian Double Chocolate Brownies a go and we promise you won’t regret it! For all the Oreo lovers, they also have an Oreo and Cookie Dough Brownie which has the best of both worlds. The brownies are fudgy AF and super decadent. They come in a gluten-free option too!

Imperial Bakery
Located on a busy road near Poolgate, Imperial Bakery is one of the oldest bakeries in Pune. This place sells a no-frill but delicious Chocolate Brownie that you’d like to stock up on to be enjoyed in the evening with a nice cup of joe. For a nominal price of Rs 22, these brownies are moist, chocolaty, chewy, topped with toasted cashews and can be devoured in less than 3.2 seconds. The squares are perfect to carry around in your bag as an easy snack or it’s also great to carry them on your travels.

Fat Cats Cafe
This friendly neighbourhood cafe is the perfect place to meet up for a nice brekkie, a quick snack or you can even stop by for a nice cup of coffee in the evenings with your pals. The cafe does have the bestseller, Gooey Chocolate Brownie on the shelves for you to attack all week long, but they also keep experimenting with different flavours like Cheesecake and Keto Almond Brownie depending on their travels, seasons, festivities and ingredients.
