The Results Of The Times School Survey Are Out And Here Are This Year’s Top Schools In Pune

No parent wants to settle for anything less than perfect for their kid. And since schools are the foundation blocks for children, parents need to be extra cautious while choosing the right institute for their child. Well, to bring an end to your dilemma, The Times Group had recently conducted a survey of the best schools of the city and here are the schools who made the cut.

Pune is one of the most sought-after education destinations in India. So much so that it is widely known as the ‘Oxford of the East’. When it comes to choosing a school, residents of Pune are often spoilt for choice because there are numerous options. All the prime boards of education from across the country, and even the world, are fairly represented in the city because there are multiple schools affiliated to each of them. Even when the COVID-19 pandemic brought the world to a grinding halt, classrooms quickly migrated to virtual sessions and accepted it as the new normal.

At the Times Group, we strongly believe that schools are the cornerstone of the nation’s future and so, quality education must be within reach of every student who has the desire to learn and grow. Great schools are made by equally great teachers and an unassailable work ethic. We aim to give those involved in this great machine the recognition they deserve and acknowledge some of the best schools in the city.

The city was split into zones and a research agency was tasked with the job of identifying the best school in each board through a survey. To be a part of this search, the schools were expected to fill up a survey form and submit it to the agency within the stipulated time and based on the results a final list has been announced. Please note that the last date for sending in the survey forms was 19th January 2021. This is the seventh consecutive year that this survey has been in effect in the city and there is much to look forward to this year as well.

The objective of this research was to rank the top schools in each zone in Pune. The research had 3 major modules i.e. Desk Research, Factual survey & Perceptual Rating survey. Post collection of data a methodical analysis was done to rate the various schools that participated in the study and rank them accordingly.  A sample survey was conducted across three zones in Pune – East, West and PCMC. Best efforts were made to reach to every school in Pune; however, any entity that did not send complete “Fact-Sheet” within the allotted time were not included in the survey. Any entity which has expressly stated unwillingness to participate in the survey were excluded from the survey.
