One of the most reliable NGOs in the city, Akanksha Foundation follows an unique approach to provide quality education to students. It has 20 schools in Pune and Mumbai and is catering to 6500 students. They have two models: the after-school model and the school model. The after-school model focuses on providing the students from low-income groups a strong educational foundation and skills to survive in the world. From teaching kids about sustainable products and their production, home decorative items and jewellery making to introducing them with spoken English skills, computer training and etiquette you can provide your expertise as you feel fit.
