Good News Commuters! Two Special Trains To Ply Between Pune And Mumbai From Tomorrow

Good news travellers! The Central Railway authorities have announced two special trains that will be operating between Pune and Mumbai from October 9 onwards.

trainsCommuters will once again be able to travel between Pune and Mumbai with ease as two special trains will be operating between the cities at the same time as Deccan Queen and Indrayani Express from tomorrow. The trains are a part of the five pairs of special trains which are being started by the railway authorities to reinstate connectivity between different parts of the state.

trainsAccording to the commute plan, the first train which will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) on October 9 at 5.10 pm and will reach Pune the same day at 8.30 pm. On its return journey, the train will leave from Pune on October 10 at 7.15 am and reach Mumbai at 10.35 am the same day. The train has the same timings and halts as that of the Deccan Queen and will have 10 second seating, four AC chair cars and two second class seating compartments.

trainsSimilarly, the second special train 02016 that will be following the schedule and halts of Indrayani Express will start from Mumbai at 6.05 am on October 9 and will reach Pune at 9.15 am. The train will leave from Pune at 6.30 pm and reach Mumbai at 10 pm. It was also informed that only people with reserved tickets would be allowed to travel in these trains which can be booked from IRCTC booking system by visiting any reservation office.
After a break of months, the introduction of these trains has come as a huge relief for the residents who need to shuttle between the cities on a regular basis.
