Say hello to Fontana Viva Italian Pizza Bistro in Aundh that is a no-frills bistro run by Chef Jijo, an Italian chef whose food is sure to transport you to Italy!

Chef Jijo’s philosophy towards food is simple food, cooked with quality ingredients to achieve a balance of flavours. He has put the bistro together with his own hands and he is proud and passionate about his culture and food and he loves to chat about it. The small bistro can only fit about six to eight people (think cosy vibes). So ditch those super saucy desi pastas and overloaded pizzas and sample true flavours of Italy. Most of the ingredients are imported, so be rest assured that there is no compromise on quality. 

The Pasta menu includes- Contadina Veg Pasta (Tomato sauce, capsicum, mushrooms, olives, basil and oregano), Blue Cheese Veg Pasta (mozzarella, blue cheese, parsley, basil and mushroom) and the classic Aglio Olio Peperoncino Veg Pasta. For the meat-eaters, the Quattro Stagioni Non-Veg Pasta (tuna fish, tomato sauce, mushrooms),  Funghi-e-Prosciutto Non-Veg Pasta (pork ham, fresh cream, mushrooms, parsley and parmesan cheese) will all make you go mamma mia! You can pick from Spaghetti, Fusilli, Farfalle, Penne or homemade Pasta (Spaghetti / Tagliatelle) options.  

If pizza is bae then The Margherita (tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil), Pepperoni Veg (tomato sauce, mozzarella, mushroom, oregano, capsicum, parsley) or the Quattro Formaggi (Tomato sauce, blue cheese, /pork tomato sauce, mozzarella and oregano) are great picks for vegetarians. Meat eaters can feast on the likes of Tonno-e-Funghi Non-Veg Pizza (tuna fish, tomato sauce, mozzarella, parsley) and more. All the bread is made in-house and with love.
