Worried about transporting your pets from place to place? Fret not, Petxi (pet taxi) is here to your rescue. A unique transportation service, this one is dedicated solely to move pets around.
Started a year ago by animal welfare activist Priya Kailad and her husband Aditya Makharia, Petxi takes care of transportation needs of your pets. From emergency animal aid to chauffeured hostel drops, or vet visits, Petxi has you covered.
Their services include pet hostel transfers, joy rides, vet visits, inter-city transfer (Gujarat, Goa, Bombay and Bangalore), emergency drop and pick-up and cemetery transport. If you are a protective pet parent, you can even track the taxi in which your pet is travelling via GPS on your smartphone.
The cars, mostly sedans, are dedicated to dogs, cats, rabbits and birds too. The cars have the back seats removed allowing a more spacious and comfortable experience for your furry friends. You can also travel with your pets at no extra cost! The car is swept clean after every trip and the drivers are trained in pet care and can administer first aid.
