Manas Lake
Located in Bhugaon, on the way to Lavasa, this is probably the most popular boating destination in town. The Manas Resort situated on its shore offers boat rides all day long. The boating ride takes you for a full round of the lake. With a few more restaurants on its bank, you could pair up boating and a lunch plan here to have an enjoyable day!

If you’re planning a long drive to get away from the hubbub of the city, then you’d definitely like this place. The Panshet Lake is situated at around an hour’s drive away from Pune. The Panshet Boating Club here has motor boats, paddle boats, rowing, kayaking and speedboats. The prices are variable according to the boat you choose and the duration of your ride. It offers a scenic view of the Sahyadris that’s sure to cheer you up on any dull day!

Thergaon Boat Club
You don’t have to travel far to have a happy day, because here’s a lesser known gem to take your boredom away! Choose from pedal boating, canoeing or kayaking to row yourself into a happy time at this boat club in Pimpri. After a nice boat ride, this place also has other entertaining things to offer. There’s a stone garden which is one of the major attractions here, and there’s an open-air auditorium that screens various programmes after sunset.

Royal Connaught Boat Club
Now this one’s a little less accessible than the other boat clubs, but it’s definitely worth mentioning because of the experience. This boat club offers boat rides limited to its members, but the good part is that the members are allowed to get their friends along. So if boating is something you’re looking to do on a regular basis with your pals, then you should surely consider becoming a club member here or call your member buddies right away!

Bird Valley Udyan

PCMC is home to many parks and one of them is the Bird Valley Udyan. As the name suggests, the main attraction of this park are the birds and their statues all around the garden. The garden is a bird aviary, a lake where visitors can feed ducks, fishes and also spot birds like parrots, kites, and many other birds. The park is a perfect to spend a fun day will family and friends. Kids get a chance to learn more about nature, marvel at the mini replica of Swarovski Kristallwelten (Crystal World) waterfall in Austria. However, the quarry turned lake is where you can row your boats away. Visitors can try the peddle boating or opt for the motor boats available there too.
