Pune To Get Another 7-D Theatre So It’s Time To Grab Those Glasses!

The Raje Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Udyan AKA Joggers Park will soon have another gem in its oh-so-fancy crown after the prototype of a bullet train running as a toy train. A new project of building a 7-D theatre for the entertainment of the city folks has come up. How cool is that!

Expected to be up and running in the next three months, the budget allotted for this ambitious project is about 2.3 Cr. According to the proposal, an RCC with the dimensions of 14x8x6m will be set up to sit an audience of 40 people at a time. And it should be well equipped to screen educational and public interest films of a duration of five to eight minutes.

A wide range of stimulators are also being put up to job to provide a virtual reality experience where the viewers actually feel like they are in the movie! Hi-tech equipment like pneumatically controlled chairs, special goggles, leg tickler, water spray, wind effect etc. will be installed in the theatre to ensure that the audience enjoy a through and through 7-D experience.
