Lounging Around Shamelessly On The College Katta

Kimaya for Fergussonians, OC for University Students, Circular Building in Garware, Parking lot in BMCC or Beggar’s Lane in Wadia College; every Pune college has its very own Katta! And the number one thing that we did as students was lounge around on our very own college Katta rightfully and free of charge! We didn’t really care if our professors saw us, did we? Because our proxy had already safely been marked while we were away!

Ride Our Mopeds To Khadakwasla

If there’s one thing every college student in Pune owns, it is a two-wheel ride of course. And when you're bunking classes, a long ride with your squad or bae is a must. The destination, most times, used to be Khadakwasla because of the simple reason that it’s pretty much the only place around the city you can go to and be back in time for the last lecture. And who can  forget the trek to the glorious Sinhagad Fort!

Spend Endless Hours In CCD

Order one cup of coffee and sit with your gang of 7-8 friends chit-chatting for hours; we're not proud of it, but we've all done it! Cafe Coffee Day coffee was obviously not affordable for us everyday but there was a CCD outlet next to literally every college in the city, so we found a way around it!

Watch A Random Movie At E-square For The AC

While bunking an afternoon lecture, the biggest question used to be where do we go to keep away from the hot sun! And the perfect solution to that was always a movie theatre! And not just any, E-square was the ultimate student favourite because the tickets there would not pinch your pocket(money)!

Video Gaming With The Boys

All cool boys come on make some noise and say! Right from high-school to well into masters; the one thing that a boy gang would undoubtedly do while bunking is go to a gaming parlor. Now these are small little cyber cafes all over the city where you go, pay by the hour and battle it out over a game of Counter-Strike with your buds.

Drink And Games At Toons 

Not all of us had chilled out parents who would allow us to party at High Spirits till late night. What did we do then? Well simple, bunk college and head to at an all-day-bar! While there were many spots to play games with the squad, Toons used to be a favourite  and the usual choice because of its dirt-cheap rates!

All the excitement and pent up energy from having bunked the lectures had to be channeled somewhere. And what better than a fun game of bowling? The city is now crawling with bowling alleys but back in those days 3D Destination was the ultimate go-to after bunking.
