These Are The Best Spots For Some Quality Budget Shopping In Pune:

1. M. G. Road

The M.G. Road street market comes alive on the weekends, with multiple vendors dotting both sides of the street, starting from West end Theatre all the way to Marz-o-rin. The sheer variety on offer makes this one of the best spots to indulge in some street shopping in Pune. If scarves are your Achilles heel, this is your spot. You will find a great collection of scarves in various colours and prints. A paradise for jewellery lovers, tassels, pom-poms, oxidised metal, rustic boho; everything you love in jewellery, can be found at these stalls. You can also find some cute home decor pieces, such as bells and wind chimes here.

Where: West End Theatre to Main Street
When: Everyday, 11 am to 9 pm
Price: Rs 100 onwards

2. Hong Kong Lane

No, we’re not suggesting an international trip - Hong Kong Lane is a tiny lane in the busy neighbourhood of Deccan, and also one of the best places to do street shopping in Pune! It is every student’s dream come true, and has always been a favourite among shoppers with a good eye for a bargain. It’s a great place to buy in-your-budget phone covers, solid colours, girly glitters or quirky prints, available for almost every existing phone model. In addition to this, you will find here the usual junk jewellery, key chains and watches. Scout for handbags, backpacks and satchels here.Where: Next to Garware Bridge, Deccan Gymkhana

When: Everyday, 10 am to 9.30 pm
Price: Rs 50 onwards

3. Tulsibaug

One of the oldest street markets in the city, located right in the heart of the town, is Tulsibaug. Although not in sync with the current trends, this is still one of the best places for some budget shopping in Pune, and you can still manage to grab some amazing steals, especially when it comes to jewellery! We don’t recommend shopping for clothes here, but having said that, you can go cray-cray over jewellery. A  great destination for ethnic Indian jewellery and possibly the only place to buy traditional Maharashtrian or Peshwa-style jewellery.

Where: Near Vishrambaug Wada, Budhwar Peth
When: Every day, 10 am to 9 pm
Price: Rs. 50 onwards

4. F. C. Road

The Fergusson College street market is, without a doubt, one of the most popular destinations for shopping in Pune. The street has progressed from being a comparatively quiet street to a knock-out shopping hub in a span of a few years. Clothes, jewellery, shoes, accessories, food; you name it and you get it here! We especially love the selection of chappals available at the various stores dotting the street; not to forget the Rs 100 only tops and dresses right out of boxes on the street. A hidden gem, a little vendor, right outside Vaishali Restaurant, who sells beautiful dream catchers, Kutch- style jackets and boho jewellery.

Where: Fergusson College Road, Deccan
When: Every day, 11 am to 9.30 pm
Price: Rs 100 onwards

5. Koregaon Park

You might know it as the party hub of the city, but KP also happens to be one of the best places to do street shopping in Pune! It's well-known for its quiet little lanes and is home to a number of excellent little shops. Shoes and chappals are the bestsellers here; the star of which, is, of course, the quintessential, Pune trademark, ‘The Osho Chappal’. You can also get your hands on some handcrafted fabric bags with embroidery and mirror work. Kaftans, boho dresses and meditation robes can be found here too. This is a favourite, especially amongst foreign tourists, who’re often seen splurging here.

Where: Lane number 1 & 2, North Main Road, Koregaon Park
When: Everyday, 11 am to 9 pm
