Spicejet Flights Are Moving Terminals At Mumbai Aiport, Guys! You Only Have To Go To One Terminal Now!

Before flying in or out of Mumbai, passengers always have to check which terminal is their flight from or to. The confusion further happens for airlines like Spicejet and IndiGo as they operate out of both T1 and T2 terminals of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

But fret not, soon that is going to be one less problem for y'all. Spicejet has announced that it will now be operating only out of the T2, i.e. International terminal of CSMIA starting October 1, 2019. The move will not only cut down costs for them, but also enable travellers to be sure that they gotta head to only one Terminal. Most of the domestic operations for airlines like Spicejet, IndiGo, GoAir, TruJet happen from the domestic aka T1 terminal of the airport. But after the shutdown of Jet Airways, the operations got divided between the two terminals.

T2 is also known as the International terminal and all international airlines operate from there. The domestic airlines that have operations at Terminal 2 are Air India, Vistara, Air Asia and some of IndiGo and GoAir flights. Spicejet also has shifted to Terminal 3 at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. From Mumbai alone, there are as many as 150 flights connecting Mumbai to other destinations. Well, this is truly a piece of good news. Now our travel hassles are a tad bit less. Don't you think?
