Under the Unlock 3.0 phase of Mission Begin Again, malls have been allowed to re-open from August 5. But with SOPs in place that will ensure everyone's safety. And our most-loved Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla is all set to welcome you with these safety measures in place.

They have stringent sanitisation and safety protocols for the customers and their staff. They have spent the past three months setting up these SOPs. There are UV Scanners at the entry for disinfecting handbags, and a sanitizing mat installed at the entrance to disinfect customer footwear before they enter the mall. There are temperature checks using thermal cameras for everyone. They also have UV Boxes for disinfecting all shopping bags. 

Wearing masks is mandatory for all, and there are Social Distancing floor markers that are 6 feet apart and installed at all locations where queues are likely to form. As many as over 100 sanitizer booths have been installed across the mall. If you don't have a mask on you or are keen on buying more, then there are automated vending machines that will dispense masks at a nominal cost. 

When it comes to elevators, only three people or a family are allowed at a time. It is operated by a lift attendant. When roaming inside the mall, people are urged to avoid moving in groups of 4 or more inside. This is not applicable to families. 

All high touchpoint areas like railings, escalator belts, restrooms, etc will be sanitised at regular intervals to ensure utmost hygiene; and the mall will be disinfected once it shuts on a daily basis. Wheelchairs will be cleaned after every use.  To ensure minimum contact, Digital Payment methods recommended at all touchpoints i.e. stores, parking, F&B, and food courts. 

Each store is following social distancing, safety, and sanitisation protocol. All stores, as well as trial rooms, follow strict disinfection protocols.Shopping bags, trolleys, and baskets will also be sanitised before every use across the mall. 

When it comes to food courts, the seating area has gone under a transformation, and movement of chairs is prohibited. There is a dedicated family zone for families to enjoy their meal. The mall encourages contactless payment methods encouraged in parking lots as well. They have installed UV scanning machines that disinfects cash received from the customers and change given back. Mall's housekeeping staff are trained and equipped to comply with safety procedures. 

There is also a special team appointed that will deal with any on-ground emergencies so that healthcare is offered at the earliest to any guest or staff member who feels unwell. Not only all this, but the mall has also installed a customer density control system that will ensure crowd management.
