Did y’all know about these two entrepreneurs, Ulka Sadalkar and Rajeev Kher from Pune who came up with the super innovative and cool concept of turning old buses into clean toilets for women? Well, soon you’ll spotting these mobile toilets in Mumbai too peeps! Keep reading to know more.

The buses which were upcycled into toilets in Pune are known as ‘Ti’ toilets, Ti meaning she in Marathi, hence the name, fits just right! If you think these toilets will just be the same as your public toilets, then you’re very wrong cuz these toilets are super clean and hygienic, equipped with western as well as Indian toilets, showers, diaper changing stands, wash basins, sanitary pad dispenser and you can access wifi too!

You will also come across huge television screens with pragmatic slogans like wash your hands and flush. A lady caretaker will be present in the toilets to keep everything in check! What’s even more interesting is that these buses will function on solar energy and are thereby environment-friendly! The city’s first ever mobile toilet will be stationed at Marine Drive. The BMC has already taken the initiative and started a conversation with the entrepreneurs fromPune.

So, soon you can spot this upcycled loo on Marine Drive and can use these at just Rs 5! The BMC will soon kick off the concept of moving toilets in the city too! *Kudos*
