Mumbaikars, Cyclone Is Coming Our Way. Be Prepared!

Sunday night rain shower brought relief to Mumbaikars. That was a sign that monsoons are finally here. But wait, before that there's also a cyclone, guys. Cyclone Vayu is circulating and over Lakshadweep area and Southeast Arabian Sea.

It is 300 km away from Maharashtra's coast but the MET department has predicted that June 11-12 will see heavy showers, turbulent sea, and strong winds. The weather department has declared monsoon's arrival on Konkan coast and in Mumbai. Fishermen have been advised by the government not to go into the sea. The cyclonic depression will stay for over 48 hours.

The south-west monsoon will advance to remaining parts of the South Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep, Kerala, some parts of Tamil Nadu, and the central Arabian Sea in the next 24 hours.Monsoon usually arrives in Mumbai by June 7, this time it was predicted to be late. From the onset, it will take 15 days for it to cover the whole state of Maharashtra. So people, get monsoon ready cuz #MumbaiRain is coming!
