Yes, Mumbai to Goa Coastal Highway is gonna make our coastal dreams come true. It is being constructed and the work is on in full swing. If reports are to be believed, the work on it will be wrapped up in say about a year. Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has confirmed in an India TV report.

After some glitch that had halted the construction in some areas, the work is back on. The highway will be a four-lane one and will run parallel to the coast of the Arabian Sea. Normally, travel to Goa from Mumbai on the present route takes about 10-13 hours to reach, but with the coastal highway it would come down to about 7 hours. You can soon soak in the Konkan glory and enjoy a fun-filled road trip to Goa with your gang soon. We can’t wait! Can you?
