LoveLocal: This Mumbai-Based Start-Up Is A Platform Connecting Kirana Store Owners With Customers

We really don’t have to explain how much the world has changed since the pandemic started. From schools to offices, everything shifted to online and so did the offline marketplaces. Meanwhile, a hyperlocal e-commerce marketplace called LoveLocal that launched right before the pandemic began is nothing short of a revolution for small businesses. Read on.

LoveLocal

Launched in January 2020 by Akanksha Hazari, LoveLocal is a platform for local retailers which enables them to operate their businesses online. As we tend to look for home deliveries of daily essentials instead of stepping out, LoveLocal is uplifting these retailers. You can find everything from groceries, medicine, fruits & vegetables, dairy, bakeries to local meat & fish shops.
LoveLocal
What we have learnt about them is that it operates in more than 1100 pincodes in 35 cities where more than 5,00,000 consumers have signed up. There were as many as 2,50,000 queries from retailers when it launched. Currently, there are more than 60,000 local retailers registered on the platform. The top retailers have seen an uptick in their sales of upto 75%, and they have made a monthly sale of more than Rs 5,00,000 in a year.
LoveLocal
LoveLocal is the only platform which offers a complete digitisation solution to retailers for free. Through their customer-friendly app, one can register to sell with no overboarding fees, margins or commission. The platform is available in all major Metros, Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities including Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Jaipur, Indore and Bhopal.

LoveLocal has really helped small businesses to stay afloat even during the pandemic. Therefore, it’s high time that all the retailers out there shift their businesses online. And if you too are a small business owner, then don’t forget to check LoveLocal here.
