DN Nagar's Longest Mural Of Metro Train Is So Pretty That We Can't Take Our Eyes Off It

Since ages, people have expressed their feelings with the use of a paintbrush, one stroke at a time. And, trust us, when we say that every artwork has a story to tell. But you already know that. Telling something unique to Mumbaikars is this longest mural at DN Nagar metro station.

METRO

What's it about? Well, it is a train with seven compartments that shows life in various forms.

METRO

The wall depicts a version of Majhi Metro Art Train. It was converted into a metro train with seven different compartments. Each compartment has a story to tell. The seven stories are Traffic Signal, Spirit of Mumbai, The Quest, Horn Nako Pelase, Saare Rang Ek Sang, Gradients Of Time, and No Stopping.

METRO

We are in absolute awe of it.

METRO

Initiated by Chal Rang De, people from all walks of life participated while painting it, under the supervision of seven main artists.

METRO

It started on March 31, 2018 and took around 20 days to be completed.

METRO

Isn't it a sight to behold?

METRO

Every part of the city has a backstory, and we are so loving the awe-inspiring one at DN Nagar Metro station.
