It is believed that actor Sanjay Dutt visited the hotel Noor Mohammedi quite often and was a fan of their chicken preparations. As a patron when Sanju was on one of his regular visits, he directed the chef to prepare a dish with his own recipe and that became the famous Chicken Sanju Baba that is now a signature dish at Noor Mohammadi. The dish became a very big success and food gourmands from across the country visit the restaurant to try this lip-smacking preparation.

2. Bhaijaanz

But apart from their offbeat décor that has posters of Salman Khan movies all around the space what is interesting is their menu that divides dishes into sub-section with headings that are a twist on famous Salman Khan movies. So you’ll find Chulbul Chawal section, Dabangg dishes, ‘most wanted’ rotis and Indian breads, and more.

3. Karina Special Juice

At Patil Juice centre in Charni Road, expect to get bowled over by their offbeat concoctions that also have the most unique names. Some of the dishes there are Dhoom 3 juice, Dabangg Dry Fruit Mocktail, Chennai Express Mocktail, Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham Mocktail and special Golmaal Mocktail. All inspired by the success of these movies. The Karina Special Juice however, is their take on a concoction that’s best tried yourself.

4. The Masaba at Le15 Patisserie

Famous pastry chef Pooja Dhingra created a customised cake for her bestie designer Masaba that consisted of Chocolate ganache cake layered with butterscotch chips. The outcome was obviously delicious, so much so that she retained it on her cakes menu and now happily prepares it for everyone (only on order).
