Off late Amba Ghat has also become a preferred destination for paragliding due to the strong winds and pleasant weather conditions. Activities like mountain treks and water rappelling are also conducted for people who prefer a vacation sprinkled with activity and adventure. 4. Dapoli

Home to one of the biggest agricultural universities in India, Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishihe Vidyapeeth, Dapoli town is situated in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. Located at an altitude of 800 f. it is sometimes referred to as ‘mini Mahableshwar’ as the weather remains pleasant all year round. The clear coastline also allows people to spot dolphins, which has become a major tourist attraction. With kids in tow, Dapoli would be a great option for dolphin spotting, easy access, and pleasant weather conditions.

A seaside town with an uncluttered beach Dahanu has a lot of Irani population, hence you’ll find some gems in terms of food. Plus, if you don’t want to travel too far away from the city then Dahanu is just a two-hour train ride away and very easily accessible.
