How Many Of These Desi Craft Beer Brands Have You Guys Tasted?

Beer, beer, beer! One beverage that we are up for anytime, anywhere. Plus, add craft beer to the equation and we are game even more. And if like us, you claim yourself to be a beer aficionado, then tell us out of these, how many desi craft beer brands have you guys tasted?

1. Goa Brewing Co.

Goa Brewing Co is Goa's second microbrewery. They churn out the tastiest beers in the state. In their own words, they make 'non-conformist, modern beer' in a 250-year-old Goan home with custom-made modern brewing tools. The variants are Saint & Sinner, Pineapple Saison, Eight Finger Eddie IPA (India Pale Ale) and they keep experimenting with more and more craft variants. These are available in Goa as well as in other states too. Do try one of these, when you get a chance.

2. White Owl Beer

Handcrafted and fine! They have ingredients from across the globe. Comes in variants like Diablo, Belgian Wit, Red Ale, Spike, and Ace (this is the only local bottled Apple Cider). You get pints, cans, bottles of this across India. Plus, they are available at many bars and restaurants.

3. BUHO Beer

New entrant to the markets. The barley used to make this comes from France, and other ingredients come from parts of Belgium. BUHO comes in three variants - BUHO Strong, BUHO Blonde, and BUHO Witbeir.  Each has a uniqueness to it and the tastes are simply mind-blowing. Currently available in the national capital and nearby.

 4. Yavira Beer

From the house of Delhi-based Kimaya, this is a new entrant in the market. They have two variants, BeeYoung and Yavira. The USP of Yavira is that it is malty and rice-based. BeeYoung is a stronger variant with crisp, citrusy flavours. They come in 500ml and are mostly available in North India.

5. Mad King

Conceptualised and brewed in Delhi, this craft beer makers have two refreshing variants, Kòlga and Düfa. The brews will surely floor you. It is currently only available in New Delhi, but has plans to come to Maharashtra and Goa soon.

Then of course, there's White Rhino, Simba, Arbor Brewing Co, Bira91, Kati Patang (brewed and bottled in Bhutan), and more.
