Buy All Things Brass At This Stunning Store At Kabutarkhana

Certain things last forever. Some of them are these iconic stores near Dadar station that have been there for generations retailing various products. GP Rawal Bhandi Stores is one such place! You can buy anything in brass at this store. Utensils, idols of gods, any pooja items, fancy decorative items – you name it and they have it!

It’s a small store on a super-busy by-lane of Dadar market but you’ll always find people queuing up to shop here. While their crowd favourites are the pooja samagri items, you’ll find lovely home artefacts too. Some of which we spotted were a smiling Buddha idol, a brass wind chime and a vintage telephone that can find home in some art lover’s bedroom! A lot of people still prefer to use brass utensils and dabbas for home use, which are also easily available here.

Most of their items start at Rs 200 while they have heavier pieces too -like 2-3 feet tall Buddha statues and heavy hanging bells. They also make customised goods but the quantity and design is based on discussion with the owner. So if you are looking to pick tiny trinkets, find this little gem right opposite the Kabutarkhana outside Dadar West station. Don’t forget to grab a plateful of the ameri khaman from Saurashtra Farsan which is just two stores away!
