One of the towns to check out in the area is Kudal. Kudal is more or less the gateway to Sindhudurg as it has a train station. Most tourists get off here and go closer to the Malvan beaches, however, this little town too is a place worth visiting.

Kudal is one of the pristine Konkan settlements in the district. The people are hardworking and busy in their own lives and the town is surrounded by cashew and mango trees. A true visual treat, this place is for those who love greenery and a slow pace of life. If you are looking for something like this, then rent a homestay there and spend a few days exploring these slow lanes and learning about the people there.
