There Are 52 Summer Special Trains Running Between Mumbai-Goa, And We Are Making Plans Already

If there is one place we would like to hit during summers then it has to be Goa. Agreed? Well, good news is that it is more accessible. On Thursday, Central Railways (CR) announced that there will be 52 summer special trains that will run between Mumbai and Goa. Bookings will start from March 16, 2019 and can be booked at PRS counters and on the IRCTC website.

Train

Train no 01051, that will take close to 12 hours, will run between Mumbai and Karmali (Goa) and Sawantwadi in Maharashtra. There are eight weekly trips between Mumbai (starting from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus) to Karmali in Goa. It will run between May 17 to June 7 only on Fridays. The down train, Train no 01052 from Karmali will run on every Sunday. It will leave Karmali at 12.50 pm and arrive at LTT at 12.20 am the next day. This will run between May 19 to June 9.

Train

There is also a weekly special train (01015) that will leave LTT at 01.10 am every Sunday (between May 19 to June 9) and arrive at Karmali at 12.20 pm the same day. Then, Train No. 01016 will be leaving Karmali at 12.50 pm on every Saturday and arrive LTT at 11.55 pm the same day. It will run from May 18 to June 8.

Train

From April 12 to June 7, there is a Friday special, Train No. 01045, that will leave LTT at 01.10 am and arrive at Karmali at 12.20 pm. The press release also read that CR will run 18 weekly special trains from LTT to Sawantwadi Road station in the Konkan region, April 8 onwards.
