You Must Try Out These 5 Dishes From Aminia If You're Not A Biryani Lover

Aminia's Biryani is something that has a separate fan-base and I'm sure there's no one who doesn't love their succulent biryani. But, there is so much to that place than the generic cuisine. So we bring you 5 of the most lesser-known and must-try platters at Aminia other than their old school biryani.

1. Chicken Isfahan

An Indian variant of the famous Iranian dish- Lamb Isfahan, Aminia brings to you this palatable recipe with a boatload of spices and royalty. It is a special gravy-based dish where chicken breasts are stuffed with ‘Irani Keema’ (minced chicken-flavoured aromatic spices) along with dry fruits and cooked in a yoghurt-based gravy. This dish is only available at the Golpark outlet.

2. Pasinda Kebab

A kebab of mutton, that happens to be succinct in your mouth with mutton, raw papaya, cream, and spices, which gives this dish a royal taste. To try his kebab, drop in at the New Market outlet. Derived from the Urdu word Pasinde meaning favourite, Pasinda Kebab originated in the Sultanate zone as the favourite evening snack of the Mughal kings. 

3. Kakori Kebab

Kakori Kebab, which originated in the Lucknowi Nawabi habitat, found it's way into Kolkata's gastronomic scenario when the descendants migrated to Metiabruz (so did Lucknowi Biryani). As a Nawab once treated this with mango to a British officer, Aminia promises an authentic taste as they are prepared with a combination of mutton, ghee, and a handful of aromatic spices. 4. Murgh Musallam

Murgh Musallam was the favourite dish of Muhammad Bin Tughlaq and he once sat to eat it with his favourite minister and traveller Ibn Battuta some 700 years ago!  It later became a Mughal dish with a lot of variants where the whole chicken is stuffed with seasoned spices, marinated in ginger-garlic paste, and cooked to perfection. This Nawabi dish is available in all of their outlets.

5. Raan-e-Sikandari

Do you know when Porus said to Alexander that he wants to be treated like a king, Alexander announced a banquet to his honour and Raan was served for the first time ever! Raan-e-Sikandari later found it's way into the Delhi Sultanate, then to the Nizams of Hyderabad, then Awadh and now in Aminia! An entire leg of lamb or goat is roasted with spices, herbs and veggies.
