You Got To Try The Doi Aloor Dom Puchkas At This Street Shack!

Located right outside the exit gate of the busy Dakshinapan market in Dhakuria, the Rajendra Puchka stall has cleverly combined two of the favourite items in traditional, Bengali cuisine and is selling a plate full of doi aloor dom puchkas! Some would say that the pricing at the Rajendra Puchka stall is a little on the higher side, but you will feel the rates are justified once you take a look at the sizes and the portions. You will realise just how popular this humble street shack is from the constant, long queues in front of it. Owing to its ever-increasing popularity across Kolkata, the stall has won the Khaibar Pass Award held by the prestigious ABP Ananda for offering the 'best puchka' in the city and we think that the talented puchkawala totally deserves the recognition!

The mouth-watering taste of the puchkas are worth every penny and you need to try out the awesomeness for yourself, if you haven't already! A plate full of the one-of-a-kind doi aloor dom puchka is priced pretty reasonably at Rs 50 and nowhere else will you find this extraordinary combo of ingredients that is generously topped with creamy doi and fiery chutney. Apart from this unique dish, you will also find the regular items like churmur, doi churmur, doi puchka, and aloor dom at Rajendra Puchka stall.
