Yumthang lies about 120 km away from the capital of Sikkim AKA Gangtok, and you need permission to visit the place given its close proximity to the China border. The closest abode you will find is the petite  Lachung hamlet on the mountains, shrouded with mist and fog, an inescapable beauty.
