Located in an old, artistic building that gives an ode to the art deco of the ’90s, Skinny Mo’s Jazz Club is where all the Jazz enthusiasts in the city unite. Owned and designed by Munir Mohanty, the club is a small and cosy space exhibiting brick walls that majorly complete its look. The immense skylight in the ceiling that allows the sunlight to pass through, makes it quite scintillating and truly a sight to behold. Besides that, it has an indoor balcony which gives a clear view of the stage where musicians perform.

Speaking of the performances, expect a host of popular bands and artists like Amyt Dutta, Bodhisatwa Trio, Maarten Visser, among many other talented ones. In fact, Kendraka, which is a famous city-based jazz band, has already performed on the inauguration of this club. Another interesting parameter of this place is that it also invites local jazz musicians and bands, thus giving them a platform to showcase their talent and put forward a great show. Even if you are located elsewhere in the country and are an ardent jazz lover (or performer), you’re more than welcome at this place!
