While people flock to Yumthang to witness the valley of flowers, most of them miss out the blooming valley of Borong. From April to June, the valley seems pink with a rare Himalayan flower that grows in the region.

Then again, the ideal time to visit Borong is between October to March. Borong is an enchantress during the winters and most populated with tourists. In order to reach this destination, the nearest airport is Bagdogra. You can easily hire a cab to Borong which takes around 5 hours to travel. The same amount of time is consumed if you take a cab directly from NJP station. However, the easiest mode of communication is from Ravangla. Locally known as Boring Tsa-Chu or Borong Hot Springs, they are situated near the river Rangeet and happen to be quite popular among the people. 2. Ralang Monastery

The medieval Ralang Monastery is one of the holiest sites in Sikkim. A Buddhist Monastery of Kagyu sect of Tibetian Buddhism, this iconic monastery houses an outstanding collection of paintings and idols dedicated to Buddha and other forms of the Lord. It's the same place where the Pang Lhabsol festival is held every year where Mount Kanchenjunga is worshipped as a protector deity of Sikkim. 

3. Maenam Peak
