While shacks in Goa are always on the top of our hit list, the party capital has many hidden gems when it comes to street food. Needless to say, Goan street food is absolutely delicious and worth a try on your next trip there. So, here’s what all you can check out! #Yum

1. Calangute Market Square

This bustling area is home to many street food stalls and restaurants that serve yummy seafood and many snacks. The area is also a shopping hub so you can munch on delicious treats while shopping for souvenirs and textiles. 
Where: Calangute, North Goa 
When: Saturdays, 6:30 am to 12 pm

2. Saturday Night Bazaar, Arpora

The ever-famous Saturday Night Market attracts many tourists from around the world. The market is a melange of fun live gigs, some amazing shopping and of course super yummy food! Here, you will find every variety of food, from organic salads, to local cuisine to Mexican and Italian food. 

Where: H. No. 392 , Casa Babu, Aguada - Siolim Road Near Chauranginath Temple, Arpora
When: Saturdays, 6 pm onwards 

3. Candolim Market

Another bustling town market, this place will satisfy all your tastebuds! Some of the well-known street food joints here are King Kane Fast Food Cart, Michael Lobo’s Center and Monico’s Beach Shack. Here, you will find the best Chicken Xacuti, Vada Pav, Prawns, Bhajiya, and lots more!

Where: Candolim, North Goa 
When: Everyday,  7 am until 10 pm

4. Mapusa Friday Market


This weekly market is your go-to for everything authentic and local. Here you will find local produce, pottery, handicrafts, clothes, and even accessories. While shopping you can munch on the most authentic Goan food like yummy Chorizos, and so much more. 

Where: Municipal Market, Mapusa
When: Friday, 8 am to 6:30 pm

5. Alankar Food Street

Another Mapusa gem, this is your go-to for a late night snack. Known to be open till late at night, this place comes alive every evening at 6 pm. Chinese, tandoori and Goan food stalls line the streets and it officially becomes street food heaven.

Where: Near Cine Alankar, Mapusa
When: Everyday, 6 pm onwards 

6. Anjuna Flea Market

Another famous Goa market, Anjuna Flea Market is mostly known for shopping. However, you can grab a quick bite here and wrap up your shopping expedition with a stroll on the beach. The market is only open during the season, i.e, October to April. 

Where: Dmello Vaddo, Anjuna
When: Every Wednesday, 9 am to 6 pm (October to April)
