Are you ever on the lookout for secluded spots where you can just be with nature and just admire the greenery all around? If yes, then we have a secret spot in South Goa we wanna tell you about today. Make way to Velsao Beach and catch stunning sunsets that look even more beautiful against its golden sand.

This beautiful beach stretch with golden sand is located 25 km away from Panjim and is one the Southern stretch of Goa. While it is quite close to popular Colva, Majorda and Bogmalo beach, Velsao is still untouched. It Runs from Mobor to Betul, about 20 km, this pristine beach has sunsets and sunrises that will leave you mesmerised. The sun against the beautiful water and golden sand is truly breathtaking.

You can take long walks along the shore which has water on one side and dotting palm trees on the other. There are only a couple of beach shacks here and sometimes you will not find a soul on the stretch. Just you alone or just you with bae or gang! It is suggested that you pack yourself some snacks or lunch and have a nice little picnic here.

The beach is a sunbathing spot, where sometimes tourists are seen soaking in the sun. On other occasions you'll only find dogs and fishermen doing so. Over the years, boating as an activity has picked up at Velsao. If you want to explore around then there are quite a few places of interest around. Do make way to the lovely Velsao Chapel, which is located at the top of a hill that is just 15 km away. Sunsets from here are something you will remember for a lifetime. You can also check out the Our Lady of Assumption Church that has been standing tall since 1635.

So, make chill scenes more special here and take a break from bar hopping, dancing nights and lay on the golden sand and admire nature.
