Goa Makes It To World’s Top Travel Destinations List And We Are Daydreaming About Its Beaches

We all love Goa for its beaches and party culture but the state has so much more to offer in terms of its natural beauty and rich heritage. From history buffs to party animals, this state caters to everyone, and the moment you come here you leave all your worries behind.

Goa is definitely India’s most popular beach destination and it has also gained popularity across the world. TripAdvisor’s 2020 travel survey has confirmed that too! Goa has been placed 11th in the global ranking of the most popular destinations in the world! Right after Istanbul, Turkey (10) and before Dubai, UAE (12).

The beach destination, known for its slow pace of life, attracts tourists from all over the world. Be it for it’s buzzing bars in the North or its Yoga retreats in the South, according to TripAdvisor, it was one of the most talked about destinations last year. The survey is based on reviews, ratings and also saves from travellers all over the world.

Topping the list are London, U.K and close behind is Paris, France. Places like Crete-Greece, Bali-Indonesia, Rome-Italy, Phuket-Thailand, Sicily-Italy, Majorca-Balearic Islands and Barcelona-Spain, make up the top ten. Well, we don’t know about you but after hearing this we are in desperate need of some sun, sand and good ol’ Goan susegad life!

Currently, Goa has removed most travel restrictions and hotels and resorts are taking booking in the state. Before making your reservations, please read up on the travel advisories and take adequate precautions when travelling here.
