Vaccinated travellers are now eligible for exciting deals from major travel agencies like MakeMyTrip and domestic airlines like Indigo!

If you fulfilled your duties as a responsible citizen and got yourself vaccinated, only to have your plans of a dream vacation being put on hold due to the pandemic, then we've got some good news for you! Online travel portals and domestic airlines such as MakeMyTrip and Indigo are offering exciting deals and amazing discounts for vaccinated travellers!

This initiative is an effort by online travel portals and airlines to recover from the devastating blow that was struck by the pandemic’s second wave. By incentivising travelling and simultaneously supporting the ongoing vaccination drive in the capital, this initiative also hits two birds with one stone.

If you aren't vaccinated yet because you’ve been unable to book a slot through the CoWIN portal, do not fret - MakeMyTrip has taken it upon themselves to help users easily book a vaccination slot via their own platform! The platform is also giving users the option to set reminders to book their second vaccination slot, after which they can download and link their vaccination certificate to their MakeMyTrp profile, thereby making themselves eligible for these exciting deals and discounts! 

MakeMyTrip has also partnered with several hotels in Delhi NCR to offer exciting deals such as complimentary meals, free room upgrades, and hotel credit for up to Rs. 1000 per night. All you need to do is submit your certificate at the time of check-in, and you'll be good to go! They will also be providing a 10% discount on flights and hotel bills in the coming days!

Additionally, Indigo is also offering a 10% discount, known as Vaxi Fare, to all passengers who have gotten at least one dose of their vaccination. All you have to do is produce your vaccination certificate at the check-in counter at the airport.

However, the airline has stated that the discount will only be offered on the base fare and that too for a limited number of people, making it that much more beneficial for you to get vaccinated right away.
