Time To Love: An Art Exhibition At Barakhamba Road You Shouldn’t Miss For Anything!

The third part of a 42-day chronicle of love, and of 10 years of péro called ‘Time of Love’.

Even though the month of love has come to an end, that doesn’t mean love cannot still be celebrated, right? Well, Péro is on the same thought level as us as they are launching their third part of a 42-day chronicle of love, and of 10 years of péro called ‘Time of Love’.

Time to love is an episodic presentation of practice at péro: completing ten, unexpected years of making clothes, the exhibit follows a principle ingredient of péro-making "to give something time, is to give it love".

Time of love

The exhibit starts with a holographic entrance sign spelling out ‘TIME TO LOVE’ greeted by a hanging hearts installation named ‘Always’, which leads you to a room where péro kaarigars are hand embroidering a garment.

Time of love

Their episode two introduced everyone to The Matching Centre, which helps people feel the clothing and more, with each roll of cloth, and the Archival Room, a collection of their love over the years. The brand also has celebrated the idea of time through The Waiting Room, which propagates the idea of good things coming to those who ‘wait’, as an ode to slow fashion.

So much inspiration, so much good photo ops, so don’t forget to head here with your bestie or date over the weekend!
