Moving from one popular cuisine (North Indian) to another - Uno Chicago Bar & Grill serves the original Chicago deep-dish pizza! Using a recipe that is unchanged from the one that was used to construct the very first deep-dish pizza in 1943, Uno delights one and all at its outlet on the ground floor of Gardens Galleria Mall in Sector 38. Its mouth-watering menu, classy decor, welcoming vibe, and prompt service make it a popular attraction in the city. 

Start off with the Pull-Apart Garlic Bread, generously stuffed with mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and the heavily loaded Muchos Nachos. The founder, Ankit Gupta, is a third-generation restaurateur, who grew up tasting the flavours of Burma thanks to his Burmese mother, and opened up the first outlet in 2014 in Mumbai with his childhood friend Chirag Chhajer. Although the menu here is purely vegetarian, it leaves no stone unturned to impress even the most picky meat-eaters. The Tayat Thi Thoke, or Raw Mango Salad is the perfect sweet and sour beginning to your meal, followed by the Burma Burma Oh No Khowsuey and the Grilled Mock Meat Skewers. The Rangoon Baked Milk brings your meal to a delicious, theatrical close, melting in your mouth thanks to the Philadelphia cheese, but also providing the crunch of the fried brioche. The accompanying raspberry gel lends it a fruity zest, while the crushed rose petals lend it an enticing aroma. A special mention also goes to their Tearoom, an assortment of over 50 delicate flavours and robust blends handpicked from around the world, which pays homage to the love Burmese people have for teas. The offerings here are prepared using digestive condiments and energetic herbs without any use of artificial flavouring and minimal use of oil. Its interiors are elegantly designed and aesthetically pleasing, while performers serenade you with live music. However, if you’re in the mood for open-air dining, then you can take a seat in their rooftop dining area, enjoying a lovely view while you sample the best of regal Mughal and Lucknowi fare. Dishes like the Murgh Lashkari Tikka and Murgh Quorma are heaven for non-vegetarians while the Galouti Kabab, Dal Shehzadi, and Izzat Ki Roti make a scrumptious meal.
