Shilpa Shetty Launches High-End Designer Store In Defence Colony

At the launch event, the designer expressed her joy at opening a store in the capital city, and showcasing a special collection that blends contemporary designs with traditional embroideries.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra was recently in the Capital to launch the flagship store of Shilpi Gupta, who is the Creative Director and Founder of label 'Shilpi Gupta Couture.' The store is located in one of the primary fashion hubs of Delhi, namely Defence Colony.

The designer's latest collection is called 'RAAS,' and she was seen adorning a beautiful sari from the same collection for the launch. The store (D-25 Defence Colony) covers a massive space of more than 1800 sq.ft. and stocks a spectacular collection of bridal couture pieces, as well as outfits for other functions like cocktail and mehendi. Gupta describes her newest line as a poetic one, infused with adulation and romance for Krishna. It is a tribute to the bygone era of rhythm, devotion, true love and melody. The silhouettes are flowy and embellished with intricate and beautiful elements. They are ideal for the customers in Delhi who often look for finesse and regality when shopping for special occasions.
