Misbah has ridden more than 100 motorcycles and stands to be the only Indian woman to run a superbike store. She’s also an influencer with around 200k Instagram followers!

More often than not, it takes a lot of courage to do something you truly love. Unfortunately, not everyone is that courageous due to varying circumstances. So when we do get to see someone be brave and follow their passion, it can be quite heartwarming.

So you’ll be pleased to read about a 27-year-old biker from Delhi, Roshni Misbah, who is also known as the popular Hijabi Biker! Misbah was always fond of riding bikes ever since she was young, even though many people tried to discourage her by saying that “bike riding isn’t for girls”.

Fortunately, those sexist notions never stopped Misbah from chasing her dreams and now she’s a motorcycle enthusiast who rides some of the fastest superbikes in India like the Kawasaki Ninja H2.

She’s also the first and only woman in the country with such a rare superbike collection! What makes her even more special and stand out from the crowd is that she proudly wears her Hijab while shattering stereotypes!

Misbah and her family are all Islamic scholars. So she was aware that, to fulfil her dreams, she had to pursue them as early as possible, otherwise she might not get a chance later on. So she began her journey wanting to become a singer and a rockstar, though her inclination towards bikes never went away.

It was when people started telling her that she can’t ride a bike that she began working towards her dream. "I remember leaving the house to give the exam, when it hit me that I really didn't want to, so I turned around and came back," Misbah told The Logical Indian.

Many people often mistake her for a foreigner as they believe Indian Muslims aren’t bold enough or liberated enough to follow their dreams. "Now when people see me riding a 400 kg motorcycle, it is difficult for them to digest that a girl, who can barely touch the ground when on the bike, has this huge machine," the biker told The Logical Indian.

Misbah recently participated in the MTV show Ace of Space 2 and was also invited to speak at a TEDx event twice. So far she’s ridden more than 100 motorcycles and stands to be the only Indian woman to run a superbike store! Now isn’t that incredible?
