Let House Help Stay Inside Your House, Gurgaon Municipal Corporation Urges RWA Residents

The entry of house maid and helps to residents have been allowed during Unlock 2.
PM Modi in his address to the nation before the beginning of Unlock 2.0 had hinted towards further relaxation of rules throughout the country and the new guidelines from the Home Ministry surely seems to be in tandem with the address. Besides reduction in curfew timings and no restriction on inter-state movement, the government has also decided to let house maids and helps enter residential societies now, albeit with a few restrictions.
The move will bring relief to several households in Delhi NCR who have been missing their important services although to ensure there is no transmission of virus by daily movement of helps, RWA members in Gurgaon have been urged to make arrangements for their accommodation inside houses. The decision is not mandatory but residents will be persuaded to follow it for the good of other society members.
House helps will not be permitted to enter RWAs if their residence or workplace lies in a containment zone. They will have to wear a mandatory face mask and will undergo thermal screening and sanitisation at the entry gates.
