Here you pitch your tent for overnight stay, light up a bonfire, and regale a striking view of the beautiful stars of the Milky Way. The climb from the base camp to the Kedarnath peak is a moderately difficult trek that meanders through dense pine forests and gives you a chance to pay your respects at the Hindu shrines en route.
