Infected With COVID-19 Twice, DJ Mogambo Is All Set To Inspire People With His Latest Song ‘Khatam’

The song is all about putting an end to the pandemic and encourage people, especially budding rappers across the country, to hone their craft during this time.

It has been over 1.5 years since India has been on a rollercoaster ride of COVID-19, witnessing highs and lows, waves after waves, and lockdowns after lockdowns. Now with the decline in active cases nationwide, the pandemic-induced fear may subside for a while but won’t really go away as current trends also point at a potential third wave. While that is frustrating, many are using this time to spread much-needed inspiration in any way they can, in spite of contracting COVID-19 once or even twice themselves! 

One of these is a popular DJ artist from Delhi named Arjun Dhingra a.k.a Mogambo, who is doing so with his words to ‘beat’ the pandemic away. Scroll on to know more about it.

Mogambo is a local name when it comes to Delhi’s music scene. From playing in top festivals and nightclubs to making his original songs and working hard in the studio, there are no boundaries that can stop him from exploring his true side and showcasing his art. 

Despite being COVID-19 positive not once but twice, he still chooses to see the glass as being half full. The artist is dropping his latest single called ‘Khatam’ on 6th July, coupling all the power we need to stay inspired by marrying hard-hitting beats with traditional Indian music.

‘Khatam’ has been written, composed, and performed by Mogambo himself and has been produced in association with Ink Heart and Mister Bee. 

The song is about putting an end to the pandemic, encouraging people (especially upcoming rappers) to find their sound and use this time to sharpen their skills. The motivation for the song stemmed from the frustration he witnessed during these times, preventing others from going through the same with his composition.
