The best way to celebrate the day is of course ending all your meals with a big slice of cake, maybe even two. So to share the joy of this delightful day we're telling you about our three favourite cake shops in Delhi, whom you can call or visit, to have your cake and eat it too !   

1. Red Moon Bakery

With 13 years of expertise behind their name, Red Moon has become one of the city's most trusted bakeries where products are baked to perfection and hot cakes sell like, well, hot cakes. It is manned by Canadian baker couple David & Anna and their Indian counter part Angie & Abhishek, who are themselves foodies at heart, and fully understand the pulse of cake lovers. Besides exquisite taste, they've been maintaining the hygiene quality and making deliveries via their own channels to keep your food safe from germs. They even served a cake for one of their client's 100th birthday , talk about trust! The Rainbow cake here is our favourite, but they also have a great Chocolate Truffle, Red Velvet, freshly baked breads and much more.

2. Jarfull

Jarfull is a new venture that is touted to be India's first cloud kitchen to serve everything in a jar. So whether you order a cheesecake, mousse or a Tiramisu, you will always get your flavours stacked in a cutsie jar. Inventive, right? But, the imagination in presentation does not compromise for deliciousness, but instead enhances it. The 4 year old business, run by two IIM-A and Nift alumni, has four outlets in Delhi NCR. Owning to the pandemic, they've also amped up their customer safety with exceptional measures like daily sanitisation of the kitchen, regular temperature checks, and a strict "no touch" policy for preparations, along with jar sanitisation. The brand also ensures that the jars and cutlery sets are ordered and quarantined in storage for 14 days before being used in the kitchen.

3. MomMade By Anjana

Growing up everyone has fond memories of their mother's baking skills. MomMade By Anjana is a bakery that has replicated the same taste and love that your mom used to regale you with on birthdays and special occasions. They started out during Rakhi in 2015 and five years later (almost in time for Rakhi 2020) they've already become a beloved name for their homely care and decadent desserts. All their products are baked with fresh and carefully sourced ingredients, prepared exclusively without eggs. The fact that their kitchen is homebased gives us an assurance of quality and hygiene, a must in the wake of the pandemic. Each product is carefully wrapped in cling foil and sanitised, and everytime you order, you can be assured of nothing but gooey indulgence.
