Butter Chicken & Dal Meat Time! Delhi's Iconic Embassy Restaurant Is Re-Opening Soon

Embassy has been delivering it delicious fare for a while now and they're now opening for dine in. We don't know about you, but we've grown up visiting this restaurant and have missed eating here the last few months.

As per a recent Facebook update by Connaught Place's Embassy Restaurant, they're prepping to open for dine in.

One of Delhi's oldest restaurant, The Embassy had first opened its doors way back in 1948 and soon rose to become one of the city's most iconic culinary landmarks. Initially it was popular among the Western crowd and was perhaps the only place which played around with Indian cuisines to make it more appealing to the European palate. It has of course evolved since those times yet is still seen as posh.

The restaurant is known for its consistency and in a place like Delhi where restaurants come and go, it has managed to pull through, and done it how! We've missed their high ceilings, polite staff, dal meat, tandoori chicken, chhole bhature and their caramel custard. They're working on re-opening keeping in mind all safety precautions. We're already planning a family dinner in our heads!
