Sunder Nursery is more than a century old and was recently turned into a heritage park. It is now a haven for all nature enthusiasts in the city, inviting them to rejoice in the green landscape and beautiful flora. It might also claim the title of 'Delhi's second Lodhi Garden,' which is what makes us even more excited AND eager to visit it.

The newly designed landscape is a nursery-turned-garden and has a beautifully decorated central vista that starts from Humayun Tomb's entrance. Designed by architect Lt. M Shaheer, the garden inside the park is inspired by the Mughal design sensibilities and has a beautiful lotus-shaped marble fountain. Not just that, there's also a lake located on the northern edge of the central vista, where you can sit, relax and enjoy the view. Other features of the park include pavilions and an amphitheatre that will host many exciting events in the future.

The nursery is spread across 90 acres of land and houses 300 unique tree species. 80 different kinds of birds have also been spotted here. So, if you're looking for a place to unwind or go for a run on the weekend, you have a new heritage nursery-cum-garden waiting for you!
