Delhiites! Get Ready For Some Rain, Monsoon Will Likely Hit The City By July 3

Bringing the much-needed respite from the scorching heat and the horrid humid conditions in the city, monsoons are likely to hit the Capital very soon, between July 3 and 5.

Every time you walk out of your house and get drenched in sweat because of the skyrocketing temperatures in the city, the only question that comes to your mind is 'when is it going to rain?' Well, luckily the IMD has announced that monsoons are most likely to hit Delhi NCR between July 3 and 5. Hurray for that!

Monsoon To Likely Hit Delhi NCR

Delhi has experienced extreme heat conditions for the past couple of weeks, with the mercury soaring above 40 degrees Celsius, and crazy humid conditions that have worsened over time. The maximum temperature on Monday surged to 41.6 degrees Celsius, with additional heat waves that were reported in many parts of the city. The humidity levels have soared really high, and are oscillating between 39 and 53 per cent.

But, fret no more as monsoons will be arriving very soon, according to IMD. Delhi NCR can expect light rainfall on 3rd, 4th and 5th July. The eastern winds from Bay of Bengal are heading towards Delhi, bringing rains and much-needed respite from the heat. The humid conditions are also expected to become better, so say hello to 'good hair days' again!
