Delhi Youngsters Flock To Noida To Be Able To Drink 'Legally'

While the capital continues to stick to the drinking age of '25 and above,' youngsters in the city head to Noida where the age limit is 21 years only.

Nothing is more frustrating than getting denied entry to a club or bar, especially on a special occasion, only because you're not the legal age to drink. To avoid this situation, youngsters in Delhi are now heading to Noida where the legal drinking age is 21 years and above, as opposed to Delhi's 25 years and above mark.

We've all heard of people celebrating their 21st birthdays and picking up their first drink when they turn that age. Well, that might not be the case if you're living in Delhi; you'll have to wait till you turn 25 to finally be able to drink legally. 

But,youngsters in the city have managed to find a solution to this gut-wrenching problem- flocking to the neighbouring city of Noida. Around 15 popular pubs and restaurants that serve liquor in Delhi have opened up new franchises in Noida. Consequently, with more options available in Noida, it has become a party hub for students and people under the age of 25.

Most of the students head to these pubs and restaurants to celebrate the last day of their college, or for farewell gatherings, wherein they want to enjoy some good food, music and the drinks.
