An article from TOI suggests that all restaurants owners are ensuring that each table is sanitised and disinfected before and after use. In addition to this, all staff members, including kitchen workers, servers and security are constantly being monitored for any flu symptoms and are also required to get temperature checks daily before entering the establishment.

Restaurants following these safety measures are also making it a point to change their tablecloths, cutlery and napkins post every meal.

In the wake of the COVID-19 threat, a lot of diners are staying in and avoiding eating out. Due to this, the business of most restaurants has dropped by nearly 20 to 25 per cent. Several of them have stopped sourcing meats and other ingredients from international markets and kitchens are being kept completely disinfected and sanitised. Well, it's possible that restaurants are able to revive their businesses by making customers aware of their measures. The coming few weeks will tell how at ease the public is as far as eating out is concerned.
