Art, as a hobby, runs in her family, and her grandfather was actually a student of Rabindranath Tagore. Prarthana uses art to express herself, and the beauty of it lies in how open to interpretation the same piece of art can be.

Prarthana has always loved experimenting with acrylics and found the pouring technique particularly intriguing. She decided to give it a go earlier this year, and there has been no stopping since then. What started off as a creative expression and hobby has now turned into a tiny business. Gupta works across mediums, creating pours on canvases, coasters and is now experimenting with customised pieces for people's homes. She also takes commissioned projects and is open to ideating and creating pieces to suit the client's colour palette and space.
