1. Rose Cafe

Tucked away in the bylanes of Saidulajab in Saket (near the Garden of Five Senses), this cafe is as pretty as its name. There is absolutely nothing flashy about its interiors and outdoor decor, which is perhaps why it so special. A floral theme runs through the cafe and gives it that elegant Victorian feel. You'll see a lot of dainty hangings, paintings, and other crafts that make the quaint cafe come alive. The outdoor space has been done up with careful thought and great detail to attention, and with the fairy lights hanging on trees, the visual is nothing less than breathtaking. Sip on amazing iced coffee and dig into some hearty fair (awesome pastas FYI) as you gaze into your lover's eyes at the gorgeous Rose Cafe.

Where: 2 Westend Marg, Saidulajab Near Garden Of Five Senses, Saket
Timings: 12 noon to 9 pm

2. Ivy & Bean

This hidden gem in Shahpur Jat is almost concealed inside a tiny lane, amidst the crowd of boutiques in the popular shopping hub. With minimalist furnishings, primarily in red and white, this book themed cafe is not only perfect for spending some quality time with your loved one, but also on your own. And the food just adds to the experience; the cafe has an extensive menu featuring pancakes, waffles, bagels, sandwiches, pastas and many other mouthwatering delicacies. So, you definitely won't starve, even if the date isn't as exciting as it had promised to be (*wink*).

Where: 119, 1st Floor, Sishan House, Shahpur Jat
Timings: 11 am to 11 pm

3. Diggin

We know that a new Diggin has graced the city, in Chanakyapuri to be specific, but we still can't get over the charm and magic of the original one. Yep, Anand Lok, opposite Gargi college, is where the first Diggin was opened and it took hardly any time for it to become a favourite among college students (both Gargi and Kamla Nehru). And later, unsurprisingly, the crowd extended beyond just students. This cafe makes you feel like its Christmas all year round. Of course, winter is the ideal time to pay a visit and sit outside on the wooden benches, or even the standalone swing, that make up the outdoor decor. The greenery, the brick walls and the perfect yellow lighting will make you fall in love with this cafe; we reckon you might need to make extra effort to give attention to your company. Also, don't just order coffee at Diggin; the food menu deserves to be explored!

Where: No.1 & 2, Anand Lok Shopping Centre, Anand Lok
Timings: 11 am to 11 pm

4. Triveni Terrace Cafe

For all you couples who would like to dig into some local food after a day of strolling and exploring central Delhi, Triveni Terrace Cafe is the perfect place to sit and rest. Besides the fact that the cafe has a charming ambience, it also gets a lot of footfall because of its amazing food menu, particularly the Chicken Biryani and Palak Patta Chaat. And if you're in the mood for something sweet, don't miss the Beetroot Halwa here. Happy tummy, cozy vibes, perfect date.

Where: 205, Tan Sen Marg, Opposite FICCI Auditorium, Mandi House
Timings: 10 am to 9 pm

5. The Grammar Room

If your outdoor cafe date goals are a bit more fancy, then The Grammar Room is where you need to make a booking. This cafe/brunch/lunch/dinner spot next to Olive in Qutub is becoming quite popular, and is typically packed on weekends. So, unless you decide to show up here at 11 am with your date, there might be some waiting in store. Nevertheless, expect some amazing cold and hot brews (courtesy partnership with Bombay's Koinonia Coffee Roasters), as well as hearty salads, sandwiches and egg dishes (our recommendations are the Katsu Chicken Sandwich, the Shrimp Benedict Brioche and the Cold Brew Iced Latte) at TGR. You can also enjoy some phenomenal cocktails like the Cucumber & Thyme Infused Gin (most popular in the house) and the Stone Fruit Sangria. Also, they have plenty of board games that you can spend hours playing (good way to engage your company, what say?).

Where: One Style Mile, Mehrauli
Timings: 10 am to 12 midnight
